The Montgomery community is in deep mourning following the sudden and tragic death of Destiny Gardner, a beloved young woman, digital creator, and student leader, who lost her life in an accident on May 24, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Destiny, a proud native of Montgomery, Alabama, was more than just a familiar face—she was a bright light, a dedicated mother to her young son, and a senior criminal justice major at Stillman College, where she recently served with pride as the 74th Miss Stillman College.

Destiny’s life was filled with purpose and joy. A graduate of Jefferson Davis High School, she was known for her ambition, charm, and infectious smile. Her tragic passing has left her family, friends, and the Stillman College community heartbroken.
