Adam Kattoua, a respected leader in the technology recruitment and operations sector and a beloved son of Columbus, Ohio, has passed away. His sudden death has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him.
Adam was serving as Operations Manager of Strategic & Process Analysis at Fortitude Systems, a Chicago-based IT services firm, where he dedicated more than 13 years of his professional life. Over nearly a decade in his current role, Adam was instrumental in streamlining business processes, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering meaningful client relationships. He was known for his keen analytical mind, passion for building strong teams, and commitment to operational excellence.
Prior to becoming Operations Manager, Adam held positions as Recruiting Manager and Recruiter, roles through which he helped connect countless professionals with opportunities and guided teams with his insight and encouragement.
Adam’s academic journey began at Upper Arlington High School and led him to Wittenberg University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011. A student-athlete during his time at Wittenberg, Adam was a proud member of the university’s football team, an experience that helped shape his lifelong values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance.
Professionally, Adam was admired for his expertise in employee benefits design, IT recruitment, CRM systems, and technical recruiting. Personally, he was remembered for his warm demeanor, quick wit, and a heart that always made time for others. Whether mentoring a new colleague or cheering on friends and loved ones, Adam showed up with intention, energy, and compassion.
Though Adam built his career in the Greater Chicago Area, he remained deeply connected to his roots in Columbus, where he frequently visited family and cherished lifelong friendships.
He is survived by loved ones who will forever hold his memory close. His legacy lives on through the people he mentored, the careers he helped shape, and the countless lives he touched with his generosity and intelligence.
